$ cat profile.txt
I am 35 years old and an experienced cyber security Engineer/Architect with over 13 years in the IT industry, including 7 years specializing solely in IT security, with a particular focus on architecting and implementing enterprise-wide security solutions. My unique background combining software engineering and physics has given me extensive expertise in IoT and OT systems. My passion for cyber security is rooted in creating and designing solutions that empower my coworkers to innovate and achieve more, rather than restricting their capabilities Throughout my career, I have successfully led complex technical initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. I excel at developing and executing strategic roadmaps that align with business objectives while ensuring robust security frameworks based on industry standards. My experience includes conducting architectural reviews, performing security assessments, and providing technical oversight across diverse platforms and technologies. I have a proven track record of building consensus among stakeholders and communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. My analytical mindset and creative problem-solving abilities enable me to develop innovative solutions that optimize workflows while maintaining security and compliance requirements. I thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and technical leadership, particularly in organizations with flat hierarchies that value vision and results. My natural curiosity and adaptability make me particularly effective at tackling new challenges, whether it is implementing new standards, conducting penetration testing, or architecting complex systems. In private, I am a part-time father of my daughter and son, which I have every other week.

  • • This project looked into a problem for furniture production as was no way to locate wooden knobs in the used wood without cutting it first. To solve this issue, I designed a solution which uses trigonometry and coordinate offset, allowing for the translation of 2D x-ray images into precise estimation of 3D coordinates. The project was written in Python.

  • • The goal of the project was to hide the content displayed on a smartphone in a manner that allowed the owner but not strangers to read the text. The solution was designed as an iOS application, written in SWIFT, where it used face recognition to evaluate how many faces could be detected from the smartphone front camera. As soon as more than one face was detected, the application would assess the distance to the uninvited onlookers, and then manipulate text and background color in such a way that only the phone's owner was able to read the phone's contents.
